• The Mountain Course
Jack Nicklaus (1998) 18 holes - 7,453 yds - Par 72

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the Mountain Course uses the natural contour of the land to create side-hill lies and elevated tees and greens. The fairways are framed by native pines and rocky outcrops, highlighted by panoramic vistas of lake and mountains. A liberal sprinkling of sand bunkers and grassy hollows demand accurate approach shots and the large, well contoured greens make for challenging putting surfaces.

Known as the "City of the Eternal Spring" for its year-round temperate, spring-like climate, Kunming offers ideal golf conditions and boasts no less than 4 golf courses amongst China's Top 20; respectively at Spring City, Lakeview and Stone Forest.
• Lakeview Golf Resort
Nick Faldo (2003)
With the impressive backdrop of the Xishan mountains and hugging the shores of Dianchi Lake, the eighteen holes at Lakeview have been laid out by six time major winner Nick Faldo in total harmony with their beautiful surroundings. Its dramatic terrain, lakes, streams, and superb landscaping and maintenance, combined by strategically placed bunkers rolling fairways, and contoured greens make this layout both mentally challenging and visually stimulating.
• Stone Forest International Country Club
The Stone Forest International Country Club is a three 18-hole golf course facility laid out through the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage listed Stone Forest National Park, an hour east of Kunming and half an hour by expressway from Spring City.. Considered one of thee "wonders of the world," its towering, 270-million-year-old karst peaks erupt from the earth over a 135 square-mile area. This is one of the most unique sites ever made available for golf and great care was taken by architects Schmidt-Curley to preserve the dramatic rock formations and gently nestle the holes among the rugged outcroppings. The result is a scenic mix of open golf areas and holes within the rock, and three courses as much challenging as visually attractive, each one with its own distinctive personality.
• Yufeng Ridge (A Course) Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley
Yufeng Ridge starts high above the property with views of all three golf courses and the Yunnan countryside. Among the feature holes is the eighth, a par four that plays into a wall of stone and vegetation.
• Masters' Resort (B Course) Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley
To slightly differentiate it from its sister courses, Masters Resort has grass-faced bunkers, more colorful landscaping, and greens with greater undulation. Earmarked as the club's tournament course, standout holes include the par five 18th, which offers far reaching views to the valley below.
• Leaders' Peak (C course) Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley
Oftne ranked as China's # one, the C Course is the longest, newest and most impressive of the three courses at Stone Forest. Routed through an open pine forest, it shares the same stunning natural surroundings as A & B courses, with rocks and stones everywhere, and some holes played directly across or into the boulders. Yet, unlike the other courses there is a pronounced stretch of quality and subtle golf.
Dubbed "City of the Eternal Spring" for its year-round temperate, spring-like climate, Kunming is the 2400 years old capital of Yunnan province in the south western corner of China, and was the gateway to the celebrated Silk Road. Today it is the political, economical and cultural center of Yunnan as well as the most popular tourist destination in southwest China. The Dianchi Lake Scenic Area is located in the southwest part of Kunming City. Dianchi Lake is, beyond question, the center of the resort. There are numerous attractions along the lake captivating tourists. Among these are the Yunnan Ethnic Villages, Daguan Park, Baiyukou Park, Haigeng Bank, Kwan-yin Hill, Xishan Forest Park, temples and pagodas.
