Los Inkas Golf Club lies in the foothills of the Andes in a residential district southeast of the capital near Lima University and Monterrico Jockey Club. This parkland layout features pre-Inca ruins on four holes and players can also spot rare albino squirrels in the trees lining the fairways. Lima’s only golf course along the ocean, Country Club de Villa is located in the district of Chorrillos, south of the capital. Extending within the nature preserve Laguna de Villa, the course is flat, exposed to the Ocan breeze and water present everywhere, with no less than 24 lakes, providing playing hazards to the player as well as a natural habitat to the wildlife. The course features two returning nines stretching inland from the seaside through this ecological sanctuary. The front nine goes through a pine grove and features wide greens protected by large bunkers and mounding. The back nine is much tighter, with smaller green and fairways lined by water hazards and waste bunkers. The club offers full coutnry club facilities inlcuding a private beach.

In La Molina, one the most exclusive residential district of LIma, La Planicie is a green oasis surrounded by the arid slopes of the Andes. The course features two contrasting nines: The original nine, built by an American company, is a flat layout coiling upon itself around four lakes in a parkland setting, while the new nine, built in 1967, is a returning nine extending along a narrow valley. The club offers full coutnry club facilities.
