- Address & Map
In the eastern province of Chiriqui, Lucero Golf & Country Club, formerly Cielo Paraiso nestles amidst the lush highlands of Panama in the charming town of Boquete, known as the "Valley of Flowers and Eternal Spring". At 4,000 feet (1.200 m.) above sea level, this fertile valley reputed for its flowers and coffee plantations has long been a favourite destination of Panamanians seeking fresh mountain air. This scenic valley is home to Cielo Paraiso, an exclusive resort community with a championship golf course, boutique hotel, country club facilities and luxury real estate.
Dominated by the Baru Volcano, a National Park and Panama's highest mountain at 11,400 ft., Cielo Paraiso’s Championship Golf Course was designed by J. Michael Poellot of California. Conservation of the flora and fauna were key considerations for the design and the architect has successfully preserved extensive green corridors and wildlife habitat while delivering a challenging course with spectacular views of the Baru Volcano and the Pacific Ocean in the distance.
A small boutique hotel is planned on site. Meanwhile, distinctive accommodation is available nearby in Boquete. Los Establos is set amidst a twelve acre coffee plantation just outside Boquete, while Palo Alto Riverside is a luxury boutique hotel overlooking the river in an exclusive residential area of Boquete. A golf trip to Cielo Paraiso would not be complete without a visit to Panama City, your gateway to the country and the resort. A tour on the famous canal is a must and a round of golf at one of the three excellent clubs near the city highly recommended.
